Large neon backlit custom made metal letters circa 1980s from the Ann Arbor Michigan vintage store "Rage of the Age". Art deco style aluminum block letters which were backlit on the front of the building with chartreuse neon. The neon tubing remains and were functioning when taken down in all but the letter "G" which no longer has its neon. Height of each letter is 18"-19". CONDITION: The metal has a weathered patina as to be expected from outdoor use.

Detroit Brewing Company (Detroit Michigan) advertising beer serving tray, lithographed metal, made by the Meek & Beach Company (Coshocton Ohio), circa 1901 - 1905, 12" in diameter. We have just been given some additional information on this beer tray. The tray was found in an estate located in Mason, Michigan in 1996. It was in an attic, next to the chimney. It was in the home of Clark Cogsdill, who was the direct descendant of one of the owners of the Freer & Cogsdill Saloon that was open for only ONE YEAR in Mason, Michigan in 1901. It was then forced to close down. The individual who bought the estate had it is his basement from 1996 to 2024 when he decided to consign this item for this auction. So, we now know exactly where this tray came from and when. This puts the date of this tray right at 1901, which aligns with our earlier research. CONDITION: Some minor surface scratches and craving, corrosion on backside.

Cigar or cheroot case, with hand painted scene with female nude, and a removable accordion style finely tooled leather pouch, possibly German, marked IPH, 5-1/8" x 2-7/8". Attributed to be a Harrison D. McFaddin Bellova Emeralite 1920s hanging fixture. It features a Czechoslovakian floral glass shade. Unmarked other than a model number inside the metal fixture as shown. It was used as a plug-in swag lamp and does not include a ceiling cap. the glass shade measures 9' in diameter and 10-1/2" in length. CONDITION: Light wear and some dirt smudges on the glass.

Amapola by Villeroy & Boch (introduced in 1981). Includes (7) 10-1/4" dinner plates, (8) 8-1/4" salad plates and (3) 8" bowls. CONDITION: Some light scratching utensil marks.

Two vintage art glass vases. The taller one is attributed to Dale Tiffany, most probably from the 1990s, and is 9" tall. The other iridescent vase is unsigned and 3-1/4" tall.

The vase with the bulbous bottom and fanned top has a heavily weighted bottom, a ground pontil, is unsigned, and 10-3/8" tall. The tall cylindrical vase is unsigned and 11-7/8" tall. The small bulbous bottom vase is clearly signed Baccarat (France) and is 5" tall. From the collection of Kenneth Beachler.

Lighted Dualite advertising wall clock for the Shinberg Agency of Lansing Michigan dated 1956. Diameter 16-1/2". CONDITION: There is a small stress crack at the center of the face and some oxidation on the aluminum frame. There is some scratching on the glass. It lights up and was running while being cataloged but has not been fully tested.

Two "fantasy" advertising pieces put together by their previous owner. We are told that the tin tray was an original "blank" without the Acme typography which they added. The black paint on the edge has also been touched-up. The Stegmaier brewing piece appears to be recent paper artwork mounted in an antique gilded gesso over wood round frame. The tray measures 16-1/2" x 13-1/2". The framed piece is 14-1/4" in diameter.

The National Liberty sign is reverse painted glass with gilt lettering, wood framed. It measures 27-1/2" x 15-1/2". The United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company sign is printed on metal with a silver painted wood frame. It measures 25-1/2" x 13-1/2". WWI era pickelhaube style Austrian (Kottes) volunteer fireman's helmet, hard leather body, brass rib, trim, and ornamentation including lion heads and crest, circa 1915. CONDITION: Some surface scratching and denting appropriate to age and use, brass rib on top is dented, loose, and missing one rivet, retains chin strap but it is disconnected on one side, liner is worn but largely intact.

Korean War era US Army M1 helmet liner. Westinghouse Electric Company, marked center interior. Adjustable headband dated 1953. CONDITION: Paint loss, no chin strap, retains headband but leather is worn.

Fireman's helmet made of reinforced Bakelite by the Mine Safety Appliance Company, in the Skullguard style, circa 1930s - 1940s. Native American style doll, attributed to Mary Francis Woods (Portland Oregon), rolled tubular body stuffed above torso, hand painted crepe paper face over plaster form with glass eyes, printed and unprinted woven cotton fabric, with remnants of other fabrics, circa 1920s, 6" tall. CONDITION: Most probably originally had a wool type blanket wrap or other fabric covering over the torso and shoulders.
